We've made quite a few changes around here recently, so I figured it was time to revise the rules as well. Please read these before you register and post and if you are already a member, please go over them again for changes or updates.
TaylorMadeSoul.com Official Rules
1.) Please try to use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation and capitalization in your posts. We all make errors but your post should at least be legible. Please try and keep the EXCESSIVE CAPS and netspeak (ur, u, wut and such) to a minimum.
2.) Stay on topic. We have boards for virtually everything here and while I want us all to have fun, let's make a reasonable effort to keep things where they belong. Our system is pretty simple around here so please just take a minute to look for the proper forum before you post something.
3.) Always be polite and respectful to other members and to Taylor himself, as well as his family, friends and the folks he works with. Flaming, trolling, bashing, remarks of a racist, sexist or homophobic nature and insulting people for personal preference are behaviors that are strictly prohibited here. Keep in mind that this site will have members from all races, nationalities, age groups and political, sexual and religious prefences who are brought together because of our love of Taylor Hicks. Its okay to politely disagree with other members, quite another to flame and judge.
Please report member conflicts to the staff via PM. Trying to solve it yourself and participating in a flame war just encourages trolls.
4.) Keep it clean! The general board is for all ages so please keep your posting at the G to PG-13 level with minimal swearing. An occasional curse word is fine but please don't pepper your posts with obscene language. The only exception is the 18+ section, which is open to all manners of adult discussion. Rules and guidelines for the adult board can be found in a separate thread in this section.
By the same token, please keep your avatars and signatures reasonably clean and non-offensive, as they are visible throughout the boards.
5.) Please check the news on a regular basis. It's extremely difficult to get important messages out to so many members! You guys can help me out with this by checking this forum on a regular basis.
